New Programming + NAIS Online Annual Conference Terms

  • Attendee Orientation: Whether you are a seasoned attendee or a first-timer, we encourage you to join us for this introduction to our first online Annual Conference. 
  • Two-hour workshops: These deep-dive, engaging workshops are offered Wednesday afternoon for an additional fee of $30.
  • General Workshop: These 45-minute workshops cover a number of topics relating to six tracks: Leadership, Governance, The Student Experience, The Classroom Experience, Communications and Advancement, and Management. Some are offered live, while others are available on-demand. Eventually all workshops will be made available on-demand for later viewing.
  • Global Connections Track: This curated collection of pre-recorded sessions and live meetups will unpack perspectives, insights, and experiences from international schools and associations on a range of topics including leadership, governance, social justice, learning and teaching, and community wellbeing.
  • Klingenstein + NAIS Seminar: The Future of Headship: In this interactive session hosted by the Klingenstein Center and NAIS, we will explore the forces defining the future of headship and the implications for both current and aspiring school leaders.
  • Knowledge Circles: These role-based sessions will find you connecting with others in your position as you ideate around common challenges and solutions.
  • On-Demand: Almost all conference content will be made available on-demand, so that you can view sessions and catch up at your own pace.
  • PechaKucha: A captivating, visual storytelling event featuring indy school educators.
  • Quickfire Sessions: These topical, data-driven short-form presentations will give you a snapshot of what you need to know.
  • Trustee Program: An event where trustees can learn about the pressing issues facing our schools and connect around good governance.
  • Topic Roundtables: Grab a cup of coffee and choose a topical Zoom space. Meet other independent school educators to chat about important issues and shared experiences.
  • Wellness activities: Yoga, meditation, and more!
